CRH appoints Murari Perumalsamy as Head of CRH Ventures
CRH has announced the appointment of Murari Perumalsamy as Head of CRH Ventures. Murari succeeds Eduardo Gomez Mendoza, who has now fully transitioned into his new role of Executive Vice President, Strategy in CRH’s Americas Division following an initial handover period.
Murari joined CRH in 2022 within the European Strategy & Development team, bringing more than 15 years’ experience across strategy, consulting, corporate development and M&A in the building materials sector.
Commenting on his new role, Murari said:
“This is an exciting moment for CRH Ventures. Building on the team’s strong foundations, we will continue to invest ambitiously and strategically in innovative companies - working with our businesses and partners to scale solutions that deliver impact for customers and the built environment.”

Murari, who is based in Germany, steps up from his previous role as CRH Ventures Managing Director Europe.
